Directions to Quay Cottage:

On entering Westport from Galway, Castlebar or Newport:

Drive up through town on Bridge street, turn right at the clock tower, and left at the octagon. This puts you on the road towards the Quay and Louisburgh. As you come down a hill towards the harbour, the road makes a sharp left. Turn right here.

Quay cottage is 100 yards down this road on your right, just before the gates to Westport House.

On entering Westport from Louisburgh:

As you drive along Westport Quay, the road makes a sharp right turn, up the hill. Instead, continue straight ahead along the side road. Quay cottage is 100 yards down this road on your right, just before the gates to Westport House.
